Akumal Bay + Balam Reserve Day Trip

Day Trip Description

Between 7 and 7:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya and head to Akumal Beach to start the tour. At the beach, we will change into our snorkeling gear to explore this sea turtle sanctuary, home to hawksbill, loggerhead, and green turtles, as well as fish stocks and stingrays amidst the coral.

Afterwards, we will proceed to Balam Reserve, with time for a sandwich break along the way. Before entering the cave, we will don protective gear for safety while exploring the grotto.

Finally, we will return to Riviera Maya, arriving at your hotel 5 hours after the initial pickup.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes hotel pickup in Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Puerto Morelos, and Puerto Aventuras. Pickup at hotels in Tulum has a supplement of 10USD per person to be paid directly at the destination. Alternatively, you may go to the meeting point in Tulum: Super Aki Tulum at 9 am.
