Akumal Bay + Balam Reserve Day Trip

Day Trip Description

Between 7 and 7:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya and then head off to Akumal Beach to start our tour.

Once we arrive at the beach, we will change into our snorkeling gear to explore this sea turtle sanctuary, home to hawksbill, loggerhead, and green turtles. Other marine life such as fish stocks and stingrays can also be seen amidst the coral.

Next, we will proceed to Balam Reserve, with a break to have a sandwich along the way. Before entering the cave, we will put on protective gear for safety while exploring the grotto.

Finally, we will depart from this area and return to Riviera Maya, arriving at your hotel 5 hours after the initial pickup.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes hotel pickup in Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Puerto Morelos, and Puerto Aventuras. For pickups at hotels in Tulum, there is a supplement of 10 USD per person to be paid directly at the destination. Alternatively, guests can meet at Super Aki Tulum at 9 am.
