Chichén Itzá & Chichi Kan Cenote Day Trip

If there's one unmissable place in the Riviera Maya, it's Chichén Itzá. On this day trip, you will visit the archaeological site and bathe in the Chichi Kan cenote.

Day Trip Details

After hotel pickup in Riviera Maya, a brief visit to an artisan shop will occur before starting the trip.

The first stop is Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 and one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World since 2007. A guide will lead the tour, providing insights into the history of this important Maya site including the Kukulcan Temple and the Temple of Warriors.

Next, a visit to the Chichi Kan cenote allows for a refreshing dip in its waters, followed by a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

Post-lunch, the tour proceeds to the colonial city of Valladolid for a 25-minute scenic tour of the old town, where you will see the church of San Servacio, the Municipal Palace, and the Municipal Market.

Finally, the group will return to Riviera Maya, dropping off participants at their hotels or meeting points 12 to 13 hours after the initial pickup.
