On our Chichén Itzá, Coba & Ik Kil Cenote Day Trip from Playa del Carmen, you'll explore two significant archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula and swim in a cenote.
Description
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and begin our journey to Chichén Itzá, Mexico's most famous archaeological site.
Upon arrival at Chichén Itzá, we will explore this important vestige of the Mayan civilization, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988 and recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in 2007. Key points of interest include the Temple of Kukulcán, the Temple of the Warriors, the Platform of Venus, and the Great Ball Court. You will have 1 hour of free time to explore the area.
Next, we will visit the Ik-Kil cenote, where you will have 45 minutes to swim in its turquoise waters. After swimming, a delicious buffet lunch will be provided.
Our final destination is the archaeological site of Cobá, where we will take a guided tour and view the impressive ruins, including Nohoch Mul, the highest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatán.
We'll return to your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
