Discover Maya's fascinating history, climb to the top of the highest pyramid in the Yucatan, and swim in a sacred cenote on this full-day trip to Cobá!

Tour Details

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Playa del Carmen at the agreed time and set off on a one-and-a-half-hour journey to Coba.

Before reaching our destination, we’ll stop at a small Mayan village nestled in the jungle to learn about local traditions, customs, and the ancient art of pottery. You'll have the opportunity to make your own clay pieces.

Upon arrival in Coba, we’ll enjoy a 1-hour-and-45-minute tour through the jungle, exploring the ruins of one of the largest Mayan cities. You'll uncover stories about this pre-Columbian civilization.

The tour includes a visit to Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan. You may choose to admire it from the base or climb to the top for views. A quick snack will be provided before continuing.

Next, you’ll have the chance to swim in a sacred cenote and collect your crafted ceramic pieces. The day concludes with a traditional Mayan dinner by the beautiful Coba lagoon.

After approximately 11 hours of exploration, we’ll return you to your hotel to conclude the excursion.
