Discover Maya's fascinating history, climb to the top of the highest pyramid in the Yucatan, and swim in a sacred cenote on this full-day trip to Cobá!

Tour Details

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Playa del Carmen at the agreed time and set off on a one-and-a-half-hour journey to Coba.

Before arriving, we'll stop at a small Mayan village in the jungle to learn about local traditions, customs, and the ancient art of Mayan pottery. You can make your own clay pieces during this visit.

Upon arrival in Coba, we’ll have a 1-hour-and-45-minute tour through the jungle, exploring the ruins of one of the largest Mayan cities of the classic period, discovering stories about this pre-Columbian civilization.

The tour includes Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan, where we will admire it from the base and learn about its significance. A quick snack will be provided before we continue.

Next, we’ll enjoy a refreshing swim in a sacred cenote, followed by collecting the ceramic pieces you crafted earlier. We will conclude the day with a traditional Mayan dinner by the Coba lagoon.

After approximately 11 hours, we will return you to your hotel.
