Tour Details
Pickup will be from your hotel in Playa del Carmen at the agreed time for a one-and-a-half-hour journey to Coba.
Before reaching Coba, there will be a stop at a small Mayan village where you’ll learn about local traditions, customs, and Mayan pottery. You will have the opportunity to make your own clay pieces.
Upon arrival in Coba, you’ll embark on a 1-hour-and-45-minute tour through the jungle, exploring the ruins of one of the largest Mayan cities from the classic period. This includes visits to Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan. You can choose to admire it from the base or climb to the top for views. A quick snack break will also be included during this part of the tour.
Next, enjoy a refreshing swim in a sacred cenote, followed by collecting your ceramic pieces. The day will conclude with a traditional Mayan dinner by the Coba lagoon.
After approximately 11 hours, return to your hotel to conclude the excursion.
