Day Trip to Isla Holbox

  • 10 - 12 Stunden

Discover the heavenly beaches of Isla Holbox, a natural space on the north coast of the Yucatan peninsula known for its incredible beaches and diversity of birds.

Day Trip to Isla Holbox

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya in the morning and head to the Chiquilá port. Here, we'll board a small boat to Isla Holbox.

Our first stop will be at a beach on the west coast of Holbox, where you'll have 45 minutes of free time to relax under the Caribbean sun.

Next, we'll visit Isla Pasión, a small island with virgin beaches and diverse bird species. You'll have free time to explore or relax at the viewpoint.

We will then go to Punta Mosquito, a virgin beach accessible only from the sea. Between March and October, we may see pink flamingoes that use this area as a breeding ground.

Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant by the beach.

Post-lunch, you’ll have approximately an hour and a half to relax on the beach or visit the nearby town of Holbox at your leisure.

After a tour lasting between 10 and 12 hours, we'll return to the Chiquilá port to take you back to your hotel.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that the order of the visits described may vary due to organizational reasons. Depending on the weather, a visit to Punta Mosquito may be replaced with Isla Pájaros or Cenote Yalahau.

Flamingo Watching

While it is common to see pink flamingos between March and October, they are wild animals and their presence is unpredictable.
