Las Coloradas + Lagartos River Trip

Discover a unique place on our day trip to the Las Coloradas Natural Park from Riviera Maya. We'll admire the vibrant lagoons and sail along the Lagartos River.

Description

After pickup from your hotel in Riviera Maya, we will head north to the Lagartos River Natural Reserve. Here, we'll take a speedboat to explore the natural treasures along the Yucatán Peninsula coasts. During the ride on the Lagartos River, we will observe flamingoes and other bird species in the mangroves.

Next, we will arrive at the Las Coloradas complex, known for its vibrant waters due to high salt concentration and microscopic algae, creating shades of yellow, orange, and pink.

Before concluding the boat trip, we will stop for a Mayan beauty treatment. Depending on availability, we might also offer a tour on foot or by bike around Las Coloradas. We then sail to a pristine beach for relaxation and swimming in crystal-clear waters. Lunch at a restaurant featuring local fish and seafood will be provided. The return to your hotel will occur after a total of 12 to 13 hours.

Meeting Point

This tour includes pickup from downtown hotels in Playa del Carmen. Alternative meeting points will be arranged for boutique hotels, Airbnb, private homes, hostels, motels, and hotels with difficult access.

Itinerary Changes

The Las Coloradas bike tour is subject to availability and may be replaced by a walking tour if there are many tourists.
