Tulum and Rio Secreto Day Trip

Pick up from your hotel in Riviera Maya will be at 7 am. We will proceed to the Mayan archaeological site of Tulum, situated on a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

At "The Castle," the largest structure in Tulum, we will observe the advanced Mayan knowledge in architecture and astronomy. This pre-Hispanic civilization made notable predictions based on star positions. The Tulum astronomical observatory was used for stargazing, and we will also visit significant temples, including the Temple of the Frescoes, which features period paintings.

Next, we will explore the natural grottoes of the Rio Secreto, an underground river that reveals stalactites and stalagmites. With a guide, participants will wear helmets and wetsuits to navigate the hidden areas of these caves.

The tour will return to hotels in Riviera Maya around 4 pm.
