Tulum and Rio Secreto Day Trip

Pickup from your hotel in Riviera Maya is at 7 am. The tour begins at the Mayan archaeological site of Tulum, situated on a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Visitors will explore "The Castle," the most notable structure in Tulum, and learn about Mayan advancements in architecture and astronomy. The Tulum astronomical observatory was used for star studies, and significant temples, including the Temple of the Frescoes with period paintings, will be visited.

Next, the tour progresses to the natural grottoes of the Rio Secreto, an underground river containing stalactites and stalagmites. Accompanied by an expert guide, participants will don helmets and wetsuits to explore the hidden corners of these caves.

The tour concludes with a return to hotels in Riviera Maya around 4 pm.
