Tulum & Maya Community Excursion
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your Riviera Maya hotel and drive to Tulum, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Mexican Caribbean.
Upon arrival at this ancient pre-Columbian enclave, we'll take a guided tour of the Tulum archaeological complex. Over the course of two hours, we'll visit monuments such as the Temples of the Frescoes, where we'll see the decorated stucco walls. We'll continue our tour at the Temple of the Descending God, where we'll learn about the history of this deity. We'll also stop at El Castillo, the largest monument of the complex, offering panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.
After exploring Tulum, we'll visit a Maya community. Members of the community will share insights about their daily life and traditions. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a handmade tortilla workshop.
After the workshop, there will be an hour of free time for a refreshing swim in the community cenote, a natural lagoon with crystalline waters. Following this, we'll return to your hotel in Riviera Maya, with arrival scheduled 5.5 to 7 hours after departure.
