Palma + Valldemosa Excursion

This excursion to Palma and Valldemosa, located within the Tramontana Mountain Range, offers an ideal opportunity to explore the rural charm of the Balearic Islands, alongside a visit to its capital. Among the highlights is the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemosa.

Tour Overview

Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up scheduled between 8 am and 9 am, followed by a pleasant drive towards Palma de Mallorca. Are you ready to uncover the beauty of the Balearic Islands capital on a scenic bus ride?

We will explore the promenade, along with the vibrant Jaime III neighbourhood and the Paseo del Borne. After experiencing these notable shopping districts, we’ll make a stop, granting you 2 hours of leisure in Palma's historical center. You can wander through its storied streets and appreciate the magnificent architecture of the Cathedral. Remarkably, this cathedral houses the largest Gothic rose window in Europe!

After our Palma visit, we'll continue our journey to the stunning Tramontana Mountain Range to reach Valldemosa, a favored retreat for numerous artists and renowned figures. One notable visitor was the composer Frederic Chopin, who came to Valldemosa in 1838 and was mesmerized by its scenic beauty.

Here, enjoy an hour of free exploration, where you can meander through the picturesque alleyways of Valldemosa and visit the Royal Charterhouse, once the residence of King Sancho I of Mallorca.

Concluding the day, we'll return you to your hotel between 4:30 pm and 5 pm, marking the end of the excursion.

The outing includes pick-up from hotels situated in the eastern region (Levante): Cala Mesquida, Cala Ratjada, Font de Sa Cala, Canyamel, Cala Bona, Cala Millor, Sa Coma, and S'Illot.

Furthermore, on Wednesdays from May 5 to October 15, pick-up service is also available from Colonia de Sant Jordi.
