Tour Details

We'll meet at the entrance to the Pitas Artisan Centre at the scheduled time. This location offers insight into the artistic and cultural essence of Sorbas.

Once gathered, we will explore the incredible world of Agave wood, a material used in this workshop for making musical instruments. Our first stop will be the Museum of Unique Instruments, which features a vast collection crafted from this exotic wood.

The tour will then progress to exploring the various cultures from around the world through their unique sounds, highlighting African and Andalusian rhythms played on these musical instruments.

Next, we will learn about the production process involved in creating agave wooden handicrafts, focusing on the carving techniques used.

After 2 hours, we will conclude the tour by presenting you with a handmade souvenir from the Pitas Artisan Centre before departing.
