Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

Are you a history lover? On this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius, we'll visit the ancient city which was buried by the eruption of the volcano in Campania.

Tour Description

We'll meet at the indicated meeting point in Sorrento at the specified time, and start this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Depending on availability, we will leave by train or minibus. Our first stop will be the Vesuvius National Park, accessed by minibus, where we will embark on a hiking trail with our guide, exploring this natural monument.

Learn about one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world while admiring its impressive crater. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples, from the Miseno cape to the Campanella point.

Afterward, we will travel back in the minibus to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii to visit the forum, the baths, and the lupanar in the archaeological site, preserved due to the volcanic ash.

Once the guided tour of Pompeii is complete, we will return to Sorrento by train or minibus, depending on availability, concluding the trip after a total of 8 or 9 hours.
