Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

Are you a history lover? On this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius, we'll visit the ancient city which was buried by the eruption of the most famous volcano in Campania.

Tour Description

We'll meet at the indicated meeting point in Sorrento at the specified time and start this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Depending on availability, we'll depart by train or minibus. Our first stop will be the Vesuvius National Park, accessible by minibus, where we'll embark on a hiking trail with our guide to explore the landscapes of this natural monument.

We will uncover why it is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world while we admire its crater. A panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples will also be provided, from the Miseno cape to the Campanella point.

After hiking, we'll return by minibus to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, visiting the forum, baths, and lupanar. The preservation of these areas is attributed to the ash from the volcano.

Upon completing the guided tour of Pompeii, we'll return to Sorrento by train or minibus, depending on availability, concluding the day after a total of 8 or 9 hours.
