Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Terra Surti Estate. From this farm, situated on the outskirts of Sicilian town of Sortino, we'll take a stroll to the necropolis of Pantalica.

After a 1-hour walk, we'll reach this prehistoric site, a World Heritage Site with over 5,000 tombs from the 13th century BC to the 17 BC. We will explore its history and breathtaking landscapes, featuring a canyon crisscrossed by a stream.

After the necropolis exploration, we'll return to the hacienda to learn about olive oil production at the olive mill, including the production of extra virgin olive oil. This includes a tasting of the product, a key part of Mediterranean cuisine.

After the tasting, enjoy a Sicilian lunch, featuring bread, olives, cured cheese, salami, bruschetta with pâté, stuffed pizzolo, ricotta, and honey. Drinks include mineral water, white wine, or red wine.
