Trip Details

Day 1: El Djem – Matmata – Douz

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sousse to start our 2-day trip visiting the best of Tunisia. Our first stop will be the El Djem amphitheatre, also known as the Tunisian Coliseum, where we will learn about its history. Next, we will visit Matmata to see the famous cave-houses, with approximately one hour of free time for lunch (not included). Afterward, we will proceed to the Douz desert, where there are options for a quad or camel ride (not included). We will spend the night at a Douz hotel with dinner provided.

Day 2: Douz – Chott Djerid – Oasis - Kairouan

In the morning, you will have time for breakfast before we head to Chott El Djerid, a large salt lake famous for its mirages. We will then visit the Atlas mountain range and the oasis of Chebika and Tamerza. Our final stop will be the holy city of Kairouan, where we will visit the Great Mosque to learn about its significance in Islam. The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Sousse.
