Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour
After meeting at Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 21, Split, we will begin our journey inland from the Adriatic Sea across the landscapes of Lika.
Upon arrival at Plitvice Lakes National Park, the tour starts with a guided walking tour along wooden walkways connecting the 16 lakes, forests, and waterfalls. UNESCO has designated this area a World Heritage Site due to its natural beauty, featuring cascading waterfalls into blue natural pools surrounded by greenery.
Next, a boat ride on the Plitvice Lakes will be followed by a ride on an electric train back to the park entrance. Your guide will provide insights about the area's biodiversity and native plants and wildlife, including brown bears, wolves, eagles, and wild cats.
Afterward, there will be a stop in a nearby town for lunch before returning to Split, concluding the day.
