Description

In the heart of downtown St. Augustine is the Medieval Torture Museum, which features a massive collection of torture, execution, and restraint devices. The exhibition includes more than 100 artifacts used for torture, with an audio guide in English provided for explanations. Visitors will encounter historical instruments like the wheel and the bull of Phalaris, alongside realistic wax sculptures that depict victims and executioners, enhancing the understanding of medieval execution and torture.
