Description

In the heart of downtown St. Augustine is the Medieval Torture Museum, featuring a massive collection of torture, execution, and restraint devices. The exhibition includes more than 100 artifacts used for torture, with highlights such as the wheel and the bull of Phalaris. An included audio guide in English provides detailed information on each instrument.

The devices are accompanied by realistic wax sculptures depicting victims and executioners, enhancing the understanding of the history of executions and torture during the Middle Ages.
