Hito de las Tres Fronteras Tour
The journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Foz do Iguazú at the scheduled time, leading to the Three Border Landmark, a park situated between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
Upon arrival, you will explore the viewpoint that overlooks the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers, where the three countries meet. The itinerary includes observing obelisks adorned with the flags of each nation, symbolizing the cultural significance of the region. This stop provides insight into the history of the Jesuit Guarani missions in the area.
During the tour, you’ll visit the Cabeza de Vaca memorial, dedicated to the Spanish explorer Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca, who discovered the Iguazú Falls in 1542. A glance at local handmade crafts will also be available with various stalls.
The tour lasts 4 hours, concluding at the starting point.
