Go on an adventure through some of the hidden treasures in the Iguazú National Park with this activity that combines hiking with either kayaking or paddle surfing on the Iguazu River.

Iguazu River Kayaking or Paddle Surfing + Hiking

At your chosen time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu or meet you on Alameda de Caete Street. From there, we'll start our 1-mile (1.4-kilometre) hike along the Trilha do Índio Trail.

We’ll spend 45 minutes admiring the fauna and flora of the Atlantic rainforest. Keep an eye out for parrots, harpy eagles, and armadillos. Upon reaching the end of our hike, we'll be on the shores of Iguazu River, where we'll set off on a 1-hour trip on a kayak or a paddleboard, depending on your choice.

During the activity, we'll paddle within a radius of 1.2 miles (2 kilometres) through lush vegetation along the river, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. After the activity, we'll return to the starting point, stopping at a hidden waterfall to cool off.

If you selected the tour with pickup, we’ll take you back to your hotel in Foz after returning to the starting point.

Schedule

The pickup schedule is as follows:

Activity at 9 am: Pickup will occur between 8 am and 9 am.Activity at 2 pm: Pickup will occur between 1 pm and 2 pm.

This tour includes pickup from all hotels in Foz do Iguaçu, except Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. If staying there, we will contact you regarding the necessary preparations at the entrance of the Iguaçu National Park.
