Itaipu Dam Sightseeing Tour

Pickup is available from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu between 7:40 and 9 am. We will then proceed to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam, shared by Paraguay and Brazil, for the sightseeing tour.

Upon arrival, a 10-minute video at the visitor's centre will provide information on the development of this massive construction. Subsequently, we will board a double-decker bus with an open-air upper floor for our 1-hour tour of the Itaipu Dam, with up to 3 stops for photos.

We will stop at the Spillway viewpoint for views of the dam's water flow, continuing to Paraguay through a 640-foot (196-metre) high wall while enjoying the subtropical forest surrounding Itaipu.

The tour concludes as we return to your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu by 11:40 am.

Tour without pickup

You may book the sightseeing tour without transport, requiring you to reach the meeting point on Avenida Tancredo Neves. This option allows for a guided tour lasting an hour and a half, available every half hour from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
