Macuco Safari Adventure Tour

Situated in the vibrant ecosystem of the Iguazú National Park, Macuco Safari offers an enticing blend of activities to immerse you in nature. Get ready to delve into the stunning surroundings as you engage in various explorations.

For an entire hour, you'll revel in the magnificent Brazilian rainforest, navigating paths adorned with local flora and uncovering the hidden gems of Iguazu. A specialized guide will accompany you, sharing insights into the unique wildlife and plant life found here.

Options

Upon reserving your spot, you can opt for one of two engaging routes. Each option provides the flexibility to travel to the meeting point independently or take advantage of hotel pickups in Foz do Iguaçu. Both tours are one hour in duration, inclusive of Macuco Safari access, and feature a guide fluent in English.

Electric car tour + Boat ride

Choosing this route allows you to start your adventure with a 3-kilometer (2-mile) journey through the rainforest in a vehicle. Prepare to witness magnificent tree varieties, including the flowering Chamaerops, the durable peroba, and the curupay.

Following this, we'll embark on a short walk of about 500 meters (a third of a mile) until we reach the spectacular Iguazu River. Here, you'll board a boat that will bring you thrillingly close to the majestic Iguaçu Falls. Expect an exhilarating ride filled with exciting twists!

Electric jeep tour + Hike

This choice takes you through the lush greenery of the Iguazú National Park in an electric jeep. During the 3-kilometer (2-mile) drive, you'll navigate through rugged terrain before heading down a 600-meter (2,000-foot) trail, where you're likely to see toucans, coatis, and lizards up close.

At the trail’s end, the breathtaking Arrechea Waterfall awaits you. With a stunning height of 20 meters (65 feet), this waterfall is a marvel tucked away in the thriving greenery of Iguazú—remember to capture this moment!

Tours with pickup

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at the designated time. The first stop will be at the Caseiro Chocolate Handicraft Center, followed by a visit to the park entrance and a stroll along the main pathway.

Afterward, enjoy lunch at the Cocar restaurant. In the afternoon, choose between an electric car ride followed by a speedboat ride or an electric jeep ride combined with a hike.

You can expect to return to your hotel approximately 10 hours after your adventure begins.

Tours without pickup

Participants can select the electric car plus speedboat option or the electric jeep + hiking tour at any point from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Keep in mind that only the Macuco component (with or without the speedboat ride) comes with a guide.

Entry to the Falls

In order to participate in this tour, you’ll need to acquire a ticket for the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls.
