Ñacunday National Park Excursion

Alto Paraná is home to incredible waterfalls, and during this excursion, we will explore one of them at the Ñacunday National Park near Ciudad del Este. Prepare to be captivated by the stunning landscapes of eastern Paraguay!

Description

We’ll start our adventure by picking you up from the Centro Comercial Shopping del Este at the designated time. From there, we will head towards one of the most breathtaking destinations in Alto Paraná, located in eastern Paraguay.

About an hour into our journey, we will arrive at the Ñacunday National Park, where we'll explore its most notable natural wonders. The highlight of our visit will undoubtedly be the Ñacunday Waterfall, an impressive cascade that plunges nearly 40 meters (131 ft.) into the lush surroundings.

We’ll approach this stunning waterfall, situated near the point where the Ñacunday River meets Paraná. Following this, we will have the opportunity to visit some of the natural habitats within Ñacunday, where members of the local Guaraní community live. This will provide us insight into their traditions and customs, enriching our understanding of their rich cultural heritage.

After our exploration of the park, we will take a time out to enjoy some food. Do remember to pack your own picnic, as this sanctuary is tucked away in the heart of the jungle, where food vendors are not available.

After our meal, we will make our way back to Ciudad del Este, arriving at the original meeting point after approximately 3.5 hours of shared experience.
