Trip Details
Between 7 am and 7:30 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu and head to the Argentine province of Misiones. Our first stop will be the Wanda mines, about 60 kilometres away, known for semi-precious stones exploited by Polish miners. Notable stones include quartz, amethyst, topaz, and agates, which are used in local jewelry.
After the mines, we will visit the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio de Miní, recognized as the best-preserved mission in Argentina. During the day, you will learn about Jesuit Roque González Santa Cruz, who founded the mission in the 17th century. Free time for lunch will be provided in the town of San Ignacio before we return to the bus.
From San Ignacio, we will return to your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, with arrival scheduled between 6 pm and 7 pm.
Hotel Pickup
The tour includes hotel pickup at all hotels in Foz do Iguaçu, except for the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. If you're staying there, we will contact you with the exact time to be ready at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park.
