Description
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Stockholm to start this tour of three notable castles and palaces in Sweden. The first stop will be at the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which has more than 600 rooms and is one of the largest palaces in Europe, built at the end of the 18th century on the site of an ancient medieval castle.
Next, we'll visit Drottningholm Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, representing well-preserved European 17th-century architecture. After a guided visit, we'll proceed to the city of Sigtuna, where you'll have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to eat.
The final stop is Skokloster Castle, built on the ruins of an ancient convent belonging to the Order of Cistercians. We will explore its patio, see a large exhibition of arms, books, and paintings, and learn about its connection to Drottningholm.
After 8 hours of activity, we'll return to your hotel in Stockholm.
Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels within 5 km (3 miles) of Stockholm Central Station. If you're staying outside this area, we will contact you to offer an alternative meeting point in the city centre.
