Explore some of Sweden's most important monuments on this tour of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Drottningholm, and Skokloster Castle. You'll learn about Swedish royalty as you stroll through luxurious rooms.

Description

At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Stockholm to start this tour of three significant castles and palaces in Sweden. The first stop will be the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which has more than 600 rooms and is one of the largest palaces in Europe, built at the end of the 18th century on the remains of an ancient medieval castle. Next, we will head to Drottningholm Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a well-preserved example of 17th-century European architecture. After a guided visit, we will travel to the city of Sigtuna, where you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to eat. The final stop of the day is Skokloster Castle, built on the ruins of an ancient convent belonging to the Order of Cistercians. We will explore its patio, view an exhibition of arms, books, and paintings, and learn the connections between this location and Drottningholm. After 8 hours of activity, we will return to your hotel in Stockholm.

This tour includes pickup from hotels within 5 km (3 miles) of Stockholm Central Station. If you are staying outside this area, we will contact you to provide an alternative meeting point in the city centre.
