Explore some of Sweden's most important monuments on this tour of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Drottningholm, and Skokloster Castle, learning about Swedish royalty while touring luxurious rooms.

Description

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Stockholm to begin the tour of three significant castles and palaces in Sweden. The first stop is the Royal Palace of Stockholm, one of the largest palaces in Europe with over 600 rooms, built at the end of the 18th century on the site of an ancient medieval castle.

Next, we'll visit Drottningholm Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an exemplary example of well-preserved 17th-century architecture in Europe. Following the guided visit, we will travel to the city of Sigtuna, where you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to eat by Lake Mälaren.

The final stop is Skokloster Castle, built on the ruins of an ancient Cistercian convent. We will explore its courtyard and view a significant exhibition of arms, books, and paintings, learning about its connection to Drottningholm. After 8 hours of activity, we will return you to your hotel in Stockholm.
