Description
At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Stockholm to start this tour of 3 significant castles and palaces in Sweden.
The first stop will be the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which has more than 600 rooms and is one of the largest palaces in Europe. It was constructed at the end of the 18th century on the remains of an ancient medieval castle.
Next, we will visit Drottningholm Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which exemplifies well-preserved 17th-century European architecture.
After a guided visit, we'll proceed to the city of Sigtuna. Here, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time to eat.
The final stop will be Skokloster Castle, built atop the ruins of an ancient convent of the Order of Cistercians. We will explore its patio, view a large exhibition of arms, books, and paintings, and learn about its connections to Drottningholm.
After 8 hours of activity, we will end this tour back at your hotel in Stockholm.
Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels within 5 km (3 miles) of Stockholm Central Station. If you are staying outside this area, we will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point in the city centre.
