Activity Overview

Our adventure begins at Tideliusgatan, where we will gather at the designated time. After everyone arrives, we will board a minibus to embark on our journey in search of the various species that thrive within the forests surrounding Stockholm. Prepare for an unforgettable experience, especially if you love animals!

As we trek through the lush woodlands and open fields, you'll learn the art of tracking signs in the snow. Later, we'll switch to a vehicle to explore areas known for frequent wildlife sightings. Equipped with a powerful flashlight, we will explore the evening shadows, hoping to glimpse creatures that emerge as night falls.

During this outing, we may encounter some of Sweden's most recognizable animals, such as deer or moose. If luck is on our side, we might even catch a rare glimpse of a beaver. In the meadows, we often spot groups of roe deer feeding alongside fallow deer. As we navigate the trails, our guide will share intriguing information about various species including ravens, hares, wood grouse, anthills, great grey owls, and wild boars.

Following our exploration through the forests, we will gather around a campfire to enjoy a seasonal snack and recharge for our final leg of the journey.

After five hours of wildlife exploration, we will make our way back to our original meeting point.

Wildlife Viewing

Observing wildlife can be quite unpredictable, so while we strive to spot various animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed. The guide will make every effort to identify their presence, but we will refrain from feeding them to encourage closer encounters.
