On the Hólmavík Whale Watching activity in North West Iceland, you will experience sailing through the Westfjords region in search of whales. At your selected time, meet on Hafnarbraut Street at the Port of Hólmavík to board the boat. The tour focuses on observing the whales that inhabit Iceland's northwest coast.
During the trip, you may spot humpback whales known for their acrobatic behavior and weighing up to 50 tonnes. Their songs can be heard up to 100 miles (160 kilometers) away. In addition to humpbacks, look out for Minke whales, dolphins, sperm whales, killer whales, and pilot whales.
After a 2-hour boat trip, the activity concludes upon returning to the starting point.
