When winter arrives in Alsace, its Christmas Markets bring festive cheer to the region. Discover the magic of Riquewhir, Kaysersberg and Colmar on this excursion from Strasbourg.

Winter brings a unique atmosphere to Strasbourg, and this is a special time for Alsace. We'll meet at 9 am in Parc de l'Étoile and set off on a tour of the Christmas Markets in this region of France.

The first stop will be in Riquewhir. Here, we'll embark on a 1.5-hour walking tour of the streets, admiring the decorations and lights. The town features numerous Christmas handicraft shops where you may wish to purchase ornaments.

You can enjoy the aromas of seasonal foods sold in the markets, including pretzels and "bredele de Noël", traditional Alsatian gingerbread biscuits.

Next, we'll head to Kaysersberg, known for its Kaysersberg Christmas market, which is open all four Advent weekends on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekdays, we'll explore the historic center with its half-timbered houses and views of the medieval castle.

At the end of the day, we will return to Strasbourg, arriving around 7:30 pm.
