Winter brings a chill to Strasbourg, marking a special time for Alsace. The tour meets at 9 am in Parc de l'Étoile, then travels by minibus to explore the Christmas Markets of the region.

The first stop is Riquewhir, where participants will enjoy a 1.5-hour walking tour of its streets, admiring twinkling lights and decorations. The town features many Christmas handicraft shops, with plenty of items to consider for home decoration.

Visitors can indulge in typical seasonal foods like pretzels and bredele de Noël, special Alsatian gingerbread biscuits made during this time.

Next, the tour proceeds to Kaysersberg, where the Kaysersberg Christmas market operates on the four Advent weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekdays, the tour visits the historic center, showcasing old half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, as well as views of the medieval castle.

The day concludes with a return to Strasbourg, arriving around 7:30 pm.
