When winter arrives in Alsace, its Christmas Markets bring charm to the region. Discover Riquewhir, Kaysersberg, and Colmar on this excursion from Strasbourg. Not suitable for the Grinch!

Christmas Markets Tour

Winter brings a chill to Strasbourg, a special time for Alsace. We'll meet at 9 am in Parc de l'Étoile and board our minibus for a tour of the Christmas Markets.

The first stop will be Riquewhir, where we'll take an hour-and-a-half walking tour of its streets, enjoying the lights and decorations. The town has many Christmas handicraft shops where you can find ornaments to bring home.

The delicious aroma of typical seasonal foods will entice you. We recommend trying pretzels and bredele de Noël, Alsatian gingerbread biscuits made at this time of year.

Next, we'll head to Kaysersberg, where the Kaysersberg Christmas market is open all four Advent weekends on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On other days, we'll explore its historic center with half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, enjoying views of the medieval castle.

At the end of the day, we'll return to Strasbourg, arriving around 7:30 pm.
