When winter arrives in Alsace, its Christmas Markets bring charm to the region. Discover the magic of Riquewhir, Kaysersberg, and Colmar on this excursion from Strasbourg.

Christmas Markets Tour

Winter brings a chill to Strasbourg, marking a special time for Alsace. We'll meet at 9 am in Parc de l'Étoile and board our minibus, starting the tour of the Christmas Markets in this region.

The first stop is Riquewhir, where we'll embark on an hour-and-a-half walking tour of its streets, admiring the decorations and architecture. The town features Christmas handicraft shops, and visitors may wish to purchase ornaments.

The aroma of seasonal foods sold in the markets is tempting. We recommend trying pretzels and "bredele de Noël", special Alsatian gingerbread biscuits.

Finally, we'll head to Kaysersberg, where the Kaysersberg Christmas market is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the four Advent weekends. On other days, we’ll explore its historic center featuring half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, along with views of the medieval castle.

At the end of the day, we return to Strasbourg, arriving at approximately 7:30 pm.
