Description
No trip to Stresa is complete without taking the boat trip to the Borromean Islands, located in Italy's Piedmont region. This pass offers unlimited access to the boat for 1 full day. The ferry stops at the three main islands: Isola Madre (Mother Island), Isola Bella (Beautiful Island), and Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island), each with unique features. You can explore locations like a botanical garden and the Borromeo Palace.
The boat ride departs from Stresa with the following order: Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori, and Isola Bella, returning to Stresa after the last stop. To travel from Isola dei Pescatori to Isola Madre, return to Stresa and wait for the next boat.
Times & frequency
The tourist boat operates from March to November daily, approximately every 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 6 pm.
Please note:
The last departure to visit all three islands is at 1:45 pm.The final departure to visit Isola Madre is at 2:50 pm.Isola Bella and Isola Madre (entrance fee not included) are open from March 15 to November 5.Timetables are flexible and subject to change.
How it works
This pass allows you to access the boat sailing from Stresa to the Borromean Islands for a day. You can get on and off during the scheduled times, with the first boarding at the time chosen during booking.
Partial closures
From November 2, the museums and gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre will be closed.
