Want to visit one of the most famous open-air markets of Lake Maggiore? On this excursion to Luino, we'll travel by boat to this Italian town, where you'll have three and a half hours free to explore its streets and monuments.

Luino Boat Excursion

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, where we'll board a boat that will take us to the Italian town of Luino, about an hour away. During the crossing, we'll enjoy views of the northern basin of Lake Maggiore, including the castles of Cannero and the ruins of ancient fortresses built between the 11th and 12th centuries.

Upon arrival, you'll have three and a half hours of free time to explore Luino, visit the Church of Carmine, stroll through Parco Ferrini, and admire the façade of the Palazzo Verbania.

Don't miss the famous Luino market, one of the largest and oldest markets on Lake Maggiore, dating back to 1535. This historic market has more than 350 stalls and offers food, clothing, flowers, accessories, and beauty products, making it an ideal place for souvenirs.

We'll conclude the excursion by returning to the starting point after a total of 7 hours.
