Suances Boat Tour

On our Suances Boat Tour, you will explore the bay or estuary of this Northern Spanish town. The tour lasts 1 hour, sailing past key locations on the Cantabrian coast.

At your selected time, we will meet at Suances Port and board the boat for a tour of the San Martín Estuary or along the Suances coastline.

The route will depend on the weather. If conditions are favorable, we will navigate the coastline and head toward Rabbit Island, skirting the islet and moving past Punta del Dichoso until we arrive at the renowned Los Locos Beach, where we will view the cliffs of the Cantabrian coast.

If weather conditions are adverse, we will explore the San Martín Estuary, which offers a chance to observe the diverse avian biodiversity of the Suances wetlands. We will also learn about the whaling activities that occurred here from the 12th to the 17th centuries.

During the tour, we will have a tasting of steamed mussels paired with a glass of white wine. After 1 hour, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
