Suances Surfing Class

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the surf school on Miguel Delibes street in Suances. This centre in Cantabria has a runner-up in the European Surfing Championship and a bronze medal holder among its instructors.

The course will start with an explanation on how to handle the surfing equipment. We will cover the natural characteristics of Suances, considering the beach conditions, sea currents, and winds in the area before practicing in the water.

Next, we'll review safety measures and conduct a brief warm-up at La Concha de Suances beach, located next to Punta de Marzán at the mouth of the San Martín de la Arena estuary.

After the warm-up, we'll start surfing. Although it may seem complicated at first, your confidence on the board will grow. The Bay of Biscay, in the middle of La Concha cove, provides perfect conditions for learning to surf. Depending on sea conditions, we may also surf at the nearby Playa de Los Locos.

The 2-hour experience will conclude with a return to the starting point.
