Join a Suances Surfing Class to learn surfing in one of the areas with significant waves in Cantabria. We will meet at the surf school on Miguel Delibes street in Suances at your chosen time. This school features instructors with notable achievements, including a runner-up in the European Surfing Championship.

The class will begin with instructions on using the surfing equipment. Understanding the natural characteristics of Suances is essential, as we'll consider beach conditions, sea currents, and winds before entering the water.

Next, we will review safety measures and conduct a warm-up at La Concha de Suances beach, located near Punta de Marzán at the estuary's mouth.

After warming up, we will start surfing. Initially challenging, you will gain confidence on the board. The Bay of Biscay's conditions at La Concha cove are suitable for learning, and depending on the sea conditions, we may also surf at the nearby Playa de Los Locos.

This 2-hour experience will conclude by returning to the starting point.
