Penedes Vineyards Bike Tour

We'll meet at the chosen time at Lavern-Subirats train station, the starting point of the tour. Here we'll put on our helmets and start pedalling towards the rural area of the Penedes.

During the bike ride through the vineyards, you'll learn about the vine's vegetative cycle, the history of local wineries, and characteristics of organic farming.

We'll ride past vineyards, almond, olive, and peach trees, with the mountain of Montserrat as a backdrop.

We'll arrive at a family-owned organic winery to explore the winemaking process. You will learn about the significance of cava and wine production in the region.

You'll then taste 3 wines from the winery. Afterwards, we'll bike to the nearby village of Sant Pau d'Ordal, known for its gastronomy and peach market.

Finally, we will pedal back to Subirats to conclude the tour.

What are the bikes like?

At the time of booking, you can choose your preferred bike type. Considering the small slopes around Subirats, we recommend the electric bike for a more comfortable ride.
