Penedes Vineyards Bike Tour

We'll meet at the chosen time at Lavern-Subirats train station, the starting point of the tour. After putting on helmets, we'll cycle towards the rural area of the Penedes.

During the ride through the Penedes vineyards, you’ll observe the extensive wine tradition of this Catalan region and learn about the vine’s vegetative cycle, the history of local wineries, and organic farming practices.

The route features vineyards, almond, olive, and peach trees, with the mountain of Montserrat as a backdrop.

Upon reaching the family winery, you will explore the winemaking process, discovering the significance of cava and wine production in the Penedes region.

You will taste 3 wines from the winery before we continue by bike to Sant Pau d'Ordal, known for its gastronomy and peach market. Finally, we will cycle back to Subirats to conclude the tour.

What are the bikes like?

At the time of booking, you can select your preferred bike type. Given the small slopes around Subirats, we recommend the electric bike tour for a more comfortable ride.
