Puka Puka and Tarabuco Day Tour

We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel and head to the indigenous community of Puka Puka, located 65 kilometres from the centre of Sucre. In this village, we'll learn about the inhabitants' way of life while appreciating the cultural richness of this area of Bolivia. We will observe their folklore culture, enjoying music, dances, and traditional clothing.

To complete the experience, we'll enjoy a pujllay show, similar to a carnival dance. Following the performance, a typical lunch consisting of a starter, a main course, and natural drinks will be provided.

After lunch, we'll proceed to the town of Tarabuco, notable for its handicraft market, where various indigenous communities gather weekly to showcase textiles and handmade objects. We'll stroll through the diverse stalls of the Tarabuco market, gaining insight into the area's ancient customs.

To conclude our excursion of rural Bolivia, we'll return to Sucre and drop you off at your hotels at 3:30 pm.
