Details of the Day Trip

At the scheduled meeting time, we will gather at the Terminal Terrestre in Sucre. You will board a sleeper bus featuring 160° reclining seats, allowing you to relax as you travel to Uyuni.

Upon our morning arrival in Uyuni, you'll be greeted by a local guide, who will escort you to a cafe for breakfast. Should you need accommodations before the tour starts, we are happy to suggest nearby hostels.

After a brief rest, we will explore the Train Cemetery, spending approximately an hour and a half there. Next, we will make our way to the village of Colchani to immerse ourselves in the stunning Salar de Uyuni. Along the way, we will stop at artisanal workshops and a small-scale rustic salt processor.

Our adventure will proceed to Ojos del Salar and the Hotel Sal de Playa Blanca, which now serves as a museum. We will then visit the well-known Isla Incahuasi, where the sight of its marine rock fossils and towering cacti will surely amaze you!

To conclude our day, revel in the remarkable sunset at Salar de Uyuni before we make our way back to the town of Uyuni. This will be a truly magical finale to your day!

At the end of our 9-hour expedition, we will part ways at the bus station in Uyuni or at a location of your choice.

Important Information

Be aware that the bus departs from Sucre to Uyuni at 8 pm.The tour concludes in Uyuni, not back in Sucre. We advise either spending the night in Uyuni or arranging a bus return to Sucre that leaves after 8 pm.
