Yamparáez 2-Day Trip
Day 1
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and travel to the village of Yamparáez. After a 1-hour journey, we will arrive in this Bolivian town, primarily inhabited by residents of Quechua origin, who maintain their traditional customs. In Yamparáez, we'll learn about their lifestyle through agriculture and handmade textiles. Daysi will welcome us and share her family's daily routine.
We will assist the family in preparing a typical lunch, which will consist of a starter, main course, and drink. Following lunch, we will take a walk through the surrounding hills before returning for dinner and spending the night in the home of Daysi and her family.
Day 2
In the morning, we will have breakfast and learn about important community traditions, including textile arts and music. The locals will demonstrate instruments made from reeds and natural materials. After enjoying the melodies, we will have lunch before returning to Sucre, where you will be dropped off back at your hotel at around 3:30 pm.
