Day 1
Your journey begins at 9 am with a pickup from your hotel in Sucre, followed by a scenic 1-hour drive to the village of Yamparáez. This charming Bolivian locality is predominantly inhabited by residents of Quechua descent, who don traditional attire and uphold the time-honored practices of the Yampara Indigenous people.
Upon arrival, you will immerse yourself in the community's agricultural lifestyle and the intricate craft of handmade textiles. Guided by Daysi, a local resident, you’ll be introduced to her family's everyday life.
Your participation in creating a traditional lunch will follow, allowing you to share a meal that features an appetizer, a main dish, and a beverage. Afterward, enjoy a stroll through the nearby hills surrounding Yamparáez before returning to the village for dinner and an overnight stay at Daysi's home.
