Yamparáez 2-Day Trip
Day 1
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and travel to the village of Yamparáez. After a 1-hour journey, we will arrive in this Bolivian town predominantly inhabited by individuals of Quechua origin. They maintain their traditional dress and customs.
In Yamparáez, we will explore the community's agricultural lifestyle and handmade textile production. We will be welcomed by Daysi, who will share her family's daily routines with us.
We'll assist in preparing a typical lunch, consisting of a starter, main course, and drink, which we will enjoy together. After lunch, we will take a walk through the surrounding hills before returning to the village for dinner and an overnight stay in the home of Daysi and her family.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will spend the morning learning about significant community traditions, including textile arts and music. Residents of Yamparáez create musical instruments from reeds and natural materials. We will appreciate the melodies before having lunch and returning to Sucre. You will be dropped off at your hotel around 3:30 pm.
