Lake Suesca Horse Riding Tour

This horseback excursion to Lake Suesca offers a 35-kilometer ride through the Sisga River valley and the town of Chocontá. The tour starts at 9 am at the Sisga dam where saddled horses will be waiting. Basic safety rules will be explained before embarking on the journey towards Lake Suesca, passing through picturesque landscapes and potato fields.

A picnic lunch will be served by the lake before returning along a different route, passing by the old northern railway station at an altitude of over 3100 meters. The descent through Lechuza Canyon near Suesca includes a stop at a cozy hostel for coffee or a snack. The tour concludes at 5 pm back at the meeting point in Chocontá.
