Route 66 & Grand Canyon Tour

Embark on this journey as we traverse the iconic Route 66, leading us to the majestic Grand Canyon National Park. Immerse yourself in Arizona's culture and marvel at the splendor of the Colorado Canyon along the legendary road.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet in Phoenix and head along Route 66, the famous road that runs across the USA.

Our journey will take us into the vast Sonoran desert, home to unique plant life, including the Saguaro cactus. As we ascend, the landscape will transition from cacti to towering pine trees.

Continuing northward on Route 66, we'll pass the city of Flagstaff and arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park.

At the South Rim, we will have about 3 hours to explore, visit shops, and enjoy views of the canyon carved by the Colorado River. This area was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1979.

During the 3-hour stop, we will enjoy a 45-minute helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, providing views of the Kaibab National Forest, Painted Desert, and the Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers.

Lastly, we'll return to Route 66 for the trip back to Phoenix, concluding the tour after a total of 13 hours.
