Description
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Suva accommodation or the cruise ship terminal. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by your knowledgeable guide who will accompany you into the lush surroundings of the Colo-I-Suva Forest Park, situated just a brief 10-minute drive from the capital.
Once we reach the park, you'll have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in one of the inviting natural swimming pools. Following this, we will embark on an exhilarating nature hike, allowing you to encounter a variety of native Fijian flora and fauna. As we stroll through this vibrant environment, keep an eye out and listen intently for the diverse native birds that populate the park. You may spot species such as the Collared Lory, Pacific Kingfisher, Golden Fruit Dove, Fiji Whistler, and Jungle Myna.
Next, we will venture onward to explore several breathtaking local waterfalls, pausing periodically to capture stunning photographs. Among the park’s treasures are two clear and pristine waterfalls, including the impressive Waisila Falls, which plunges into a pool of 15 meters in depth. This picturesque spot is ideal for swimming and diving. Here, you will have the chance to cool off and enjoy a delightful barbecue or picnic lunch beneath the cool shade of towering trees, all while immersing yourself in the serene sounds of nature.
After approximately 2 to 3 hours of exploration, your journey through Fiji's Colo-I-Suva Forest Park will conclude as we return you to your hotel or cruise terminal. We hope to see you again!
