Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at base camp located 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn to start an offroad tour of Iceland's black sand beaches. After a brief introduction, we'll board a 4x4 and head to the black sand beaches in Suðurfjörur. Along the way, we'll see the ruins of the first local airport and the Hvanneyjarviti lighthouse, a great photo opportunity.

The tour will continue to Höfn port, where seals will accompany us as we take in views of the surrounding mountains. We'll explore the black sand beaches, showcasing a unique landscape in Iceland.

Before concluding our adventure, we'll stop at a glacial lagoon near Fláajökull or Heinabergsjökull, home to reindeer. This will be an unforgettable experience!

We'll return to base camp after a 3-hour long tour.
