Black Sand Beaches Offroad Tour in Suðurfjörur

Tour Details

We will meet at base camp located 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn at the scheduled time to begin an offroad tour of Iceland's black sand beaches. After a brief introduction, we will board a 4x4 and head to the black sand beaches in Suðurfjörur. The route will include views of the first local airport and the Hvanneyjarviti lighthouse, ideal for photos.

The tour will proceed to Höfn port, where we can view seals and the impressive mountains surrounding the area. We will explore the black sand beaches, revealing Iceland's unique landscape.

Before concluding our adventure, we will stop at a glacial lagoon near Fláajökull or Heinabergsjökull, often home to reindeer. This will be an unforgettable experience!

We will return to base camp after a 3-hour tour.
