If you like nature, you'll love our Puffin Watching in Ingólfshöfði activity. You'll learn all about these Icelandic animals in a beautiful place and have an unforgettable experience.
Puffin Watching in Ingólfshöfði
At your chosen time, we'll meet at Þjóðvegur and board a tractor-drawn carriage to reach Cape Ingólfshöfði, an ideal location to observe Icelandic puffins.
After a 30-minute journey through the marshlands of the nature reserve, we will disembark the tractor and walk for 1 hour 30 minutes along the Ingólfshöfði coast. This area is home to thousands of seabirds, including puffins and skuas.
During the walk, we will provide information about these orange-billed birds, which are among Iceland's most recognized inhabitants and typically inhabit its coastlines away from hunters. Multiple stops will be made for you to take pictures of the puffins and observe them up close.
After the activity, we will return to our vehicle and head back to the starting point, concluding our tour.
