If you like nature, you'll love our Puffin Watching in Ingólfshöfði activity. You'll learn all about these Icelandic animals in a beautiful place and have an unforgettable experience.
Puffin Watching in Ingólfshöfði
At your chosen time, we'll meet at Þjóðvegur and hop on a tractor-drawn carriage to go to Cape Ingólfshöfði, the perfect place to see the famous Icelandic puffins.
After a 30-minute journey through the nature reserve's marshlands, we'll get off the tractor and walk for 1 hour 30 minutes along Ingólfshöfði coast. This spot is home to thousands of seabirds, including puffins and skuas.
We'll provide information about these orange-billed birds, which are among Iceland's most well-known inhabitants and tend to live quietly on its coasts far from hunters. During our walk, we'll make several stops for you to take pictures of the puffins and observe them up close.
Afterwards, we'll return to our vehicle and head back to the starting point where our activity will end.
