Vatnajökull Glacier & Blue Ice Cave Hike

At the designated time, we'll meet at Glacier Adventure Base Camp, hop in a jeep and head to the Vatnajökull glacier in the Skaftafell National Park.

After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at the glacier. We'll equip ourselves with helmets, harnesses, ice axes, and crampons and set off on a hike on Vatnajökull, one of Europe's largest glaciers.

This activity will include walking on uneven terrain and observing unusual rock formations and moulins that indicate the glacier's constant changes.

After 45 to 90 minutes, based on our pace, we'll reach the Blue Ice Cave located beneath the glacier. The cave's lack of air has given it an intense blue color that showcases this breathtaking part of Iceland.

We'll explore the cave's interior, one of Iceland's natural wonders, before returning to our meeting point in jeeps. The total duration of the tour will be approximately 5-6 hours.
