Description

At your chosen time, we'll meet in front of the Gerði Guesthouse. Once everyone's arrived, the guide will give us tips on how to handle the kayaks and explain the necessary safety measures.

We'll then head to the lagoon of the Vatnajökull glacier, one of Iceland's most important glaciers. Upon reaching the shore, we will start our kayak tour and row through the icy water while admiring the panoramic views of this area.

During the tour, you will appreciate the size of the Vatnajökull glacier, which occupies 10% of the country's surface area. The tour will conclude as we return to the starting point after 3.5 hours.

Kayaks

The kayaks can be single or double kayaks, depending on availability on the day of booking and your skill in handling them.
