Northern Lights Photography Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, located in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at the first stop on this photography tour, Gimsøy Kirke, which offers an excellent opportunity to witness the Northern Lights. We'll provide tips to capture the mesmerizing display of lights in the Nordic sky.

Next, we'll continue through Gimsøya, making stops at various beaches and viewpoints to enjoy the aurora borealis from different angles.

During the final part of our adventure, we'll cross the Gimsøya bridge to reach Lyngvær, our concluding observation point. Here, we will appreciate the Northern Lights and explore the science behind them before returning.

We will conclude the tour back at your hotel in Svolvær at approximately 1:30 am.
