Northern Lights Photography Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at the first stop on this photography tour, Gimsøy Kirke, a suitable location to experience the Northern Lights. We'll provide insider tricks to capture the hypnotic lights across the Nordic night sky on camera.

We'll continue through Gimsøya, making stops at various beaches and viewpoints to enjoy the aurora borealis from different perspectives.

During the final stretch, we'll head south to cross the Gimsøya bridge, reaching Lyngvær, our final observation point. Here, we'll marvel at the Northern Lights and discuss the science behind them before returning to the starting point.

We'll conclude the tour back at your hotel in Svolvær at about 1:30 am with a collection of breathtaking photos.
