Immerse yourself in the dance of the aurora borealis on this northern lights tour in Gimsøya. We'll navigate the Lofoten Islands and capture the best pictures of this phenomenon.

Northern Lights Photography Tour

We will pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After about 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at our first stop, Gimsøy Kirke, an ideal place to experience the Northern Lights for the first time. We will share tips on capturing the lights on camera.

We will make stops at various beaches and viewpoints throughout Gimsøya to enjoy the aurora borealis from different angles.

During the last part of our adventure, we will head south to cross the Gimsøya bridge to reach Lyngvær, our final observation point. At this location, we will continue to marvel at the Northern Lights and learn about the science behind them before returning to the starting point.

We will conclude the tour back at your hotel in Svolvær at approximately 1:30 am.
