Pick-up from your accommodation in Swakopmund will occur at the agreed time, after which our journey to the Cape Cross Seal Colony will commence.

During the trip north, we will stop to admire Namibian scenery and visit Henties Bay in the Free Republic of Wlotzka’s Baken, a holiday settlement.

Continuing to Cape Cross, named after the stone cross placed by explorer Diego Cao in 1486, the first European in Namibia, we will stop for a delicious lunch featuring typical Namibian dishes.

After lunch, we will go to the Cape Cross Seal Reserve, home to over 200,000 seals. Visitors can walk along a wooden walkway, getting close to these creatures.

This area houses one of the world's largest colonies of Cape fur seals, where you can observe them sleeping, playing, and eating. In November or December, there is a chance to see seal pups, as this is the birthing season.

It is advisable to bring a scarf or shawl to cover your nose due to the strong odor from the large number of seals.

The tour concludes with a return to Swakopmund, arriving at around 5 pm.
