At the established time, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Swakopmund and you'll set off towards the Namib, considered to be the oldest desert in the world. Once there, you'll be given all the equipment needed to surf the dunes.

Sandboarding is a way to enjoy the grandeur of the desert and some of the highest sand dunes in the world. This activity caters to all skill levels, offering six types of different slopes so you can choose the one that suits you best.

If you don't feel confident standing up on the sandboard, you can opt for lie down sandboarding. For this option, you'll be given a special board to slide face-first down the dunes, reaching speeds of up to 50 mph (80 kph).

You will go up and down the dunes several times, and then you can replenish your energy with some traditional snacks before being taken back to your hotel in Swakopmund.
