On this day trip to Canberra from Sydney, we'll travel to the capital of Australia and discover places such as the Australian War Memorial and the Parliament.

Description

We'll pick you up at the Holiday Inn Darling Harbor in Sydney at the indicated time and head south. After approximately 3.5 hours, we'll arrive in Canberra, Australia's capital city, and begin discovering it from the vehicle. You'll experience a 1-hour drive past landmarks and buildings with unique architectural designs, admiring the city's strategic layout.

Around midday, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, with an all-you-can-eat buffet recommended.

After lunch, we'll visit Australia's Parliament House, where you'll see the seat of government, inaugurated by Elizabeth II in 1988. We'll discuss its significance in the country's history.

Next, we'll move to Lake Burley Griffin to see the Captain Cook Memorial, the Supreme Court, and the War Memorial, which honors Australians who died in war.

We'll conclude our visit at Mount Ainslie Lookout for panoramic views of the city before returning to Sydney, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total duration of 12 hours.
