Canberra Day Trip

On this day trip to Canberra from Sydney, we'll travel to the capital of Australia and discover places such as the Australian War Memorial and the Parliament.

Description

We'll pick you up at the Holiday Inn Darling Harbor in Sydney at the indicated time and head south. After approximately 3.5 hours, we'll arrive in Canberra. We'll begin by exploring the city from the vehicle on a 1-hour drive past landmarks and buildings. You'll be able to admire the layout of the city.

Around midday, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, with an all-you-can-eat buffet recommended.

After lunch, we'll visit Australia's Parliament House, providing a close-up view of its modern architecture and discussing key historical moments since its inauguration by Elizabeth II in 1988.

Next, we'll see Lake Burley Griffin, the Captain Cook Memorial, the Supreme Court, and the War Memorial, which honors Australians lost in conflicts.

We'll then visit Mount Ainslie Lookout for panoramic views of the capital before returning to Sydney, concluding the trip after 12 hours.
