At the scheduled time we'll meet at the Sydney Opera House entrance to begin the guided tour inside this iconic Australian building, founded in 1972.

We'll spend an hour touring the elegant rooms while learning about its architecture - built with pre-fabricated shell tiles. The enclosure covers an area of almost two hectares and rests on 580 pillars.

You'll see the concert halls, where operas and ballet performances have been staged. The visit includes the chance to see the largest instrument in the world: an organ with more than 10,000 pipes.

We'll also explain the importance of the Sydney Opera House in relation to the world's theatres. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was considered a candidate for one of the new seven wonders of the world.
