Get married in Bali! Celebrate your love through traditional Balinese rituals in this unforgettable romantic religious ceremony. The ceremony is symbolic, this is not a legal wedding.
Balinese Wedding Ceremony
After being picked up from your hotel at 2 pm, you will be taken to Kemenuh, a traditional Bali town near Ubud, for the wedding celebration. The ceremony begins with a purification ceremony, where the bride and groom are cleansed with water from the town's sacred springs. This is followed by the wedding rites performed in a typical Balinese house, starting with a welcome of tea and coffee. You will then be dressed in traditional wedding attire known as Payas Agung.
A Balinese priest will lead the ceremony, accompanied by men and women in traditional dress. Various symbolic rituals and offerings will take place, culminating in the couple cutting a thread that signifies the transition from single to married life.
To conclude, guests will carry the couple on thrones in a procession to a family temple for personal prayer. Afterward, enjoy a romantic meal featuring chicken, vegetables, and rice, paired with a bottle of local wine.
A photographer will document the day and create an album, while typical Balinese musicians provide traditional music throughout the event. You will be dropped off back at your hotel around 9 pm.
