Get married in Bali! Celebrate your love through traditional Balinese rituals in this unforgettable romantic religious ceremony. The ceremony is symbolic and not a legal wedding.
Balinese Wedding Ceremony
After being picked up from your hotel at 2 pm, you will be taken to Kemenuh, a traditional town near Ubud, for your wedding celebration. The ceremony begins with a purification ceremony, where the bride and groom are purified with water from sacred springs to cleanse themselves of negative energies.
The ceremony occurs in a typical Balinese house, starting with tea and coffee. You will then be dressed in the traditional wedding attire known as Payas Agung.
A Balinese priest will perform the wedding rites, attended by a group dressed in traditional Balinese attire. Following various symbolic rituals and offerings, you will cut a thread representing the transition from single to married life.
To conclude the ceremony, your guests will carry you on thrones in a procession to a family temple, allowing you to pray according to your beliefs.
After the rituals, enjoy a romantic meal featuring chicken, vegetables, and rice, paired with a bottle of local wine. A photographer will capture your day and compile an album, while typical Balinese musicians perform traditional songs. You will be dropped off back at your hotel around 9 pm.
