Tabernas Desert Hike
We'll meet at 10:30 am at the Oasys Mini Hollywood information booth. From here, we'll start our walking tour through the famous Tabernas Desert.
As we walk through this arid landscape, you may feel like you're walking through Arizona or any other place in the Wild West, despite being in Almería. We'll also discuss the origins of this desert and its fauna.
We'll go through places that once served as locations for numerous Westerns. You'll see the spots where scenes from Lawrence of Arabia and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade were filmed, among others. This area was also known as the European Hollywood of the 60s and 70s. John Lennon also starred in a film here.
We'll finish the tour upon our return to the starting point at 1 pm. We hope you enjoyed this incredible desert!
