Tabernas Desert Jeep Tour

We'll meet at the Tourist Information Office and embark on a 4x4 vehicle tour of the Tabernas Desert Natural Park. This area is known for its unique rock formations, or "badlands", formed by erosion. The extreme climate of the region, with over 3,000 hours of sunshine annually and minimal rainfall, contributes to its desert-like landscape.

Throughout the tour, we'll explore the geology of Tabernas and discover secrets of western movies. Filmmaker Sergio Leone famously used these landscapes as backdrops for iconic movies like "Death had a Price" and "The Good, the Ugly and the Bad", featuring Clint Eastwood. Anecdotes from the filming process will be shared, highlighting the desert scenery of Tabernas.

After a 2-hour excursion, we'll return to the Tabernas Tourist Office. Remember to bring water, comfortable clothing, and sunscreen, especially during spring and summer. If traveling with a baby, ensure you have an approved seat for the 4x4 vehicle.
