Complete Tacna Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Tacna at 9 am to start this complete tour focused on the most important events in the history of Peru.
The first part of the tour includes a discussion of Tacna's war history, visiting key sites such as the Municipal Theater, the Casa de la Jurídica, and the home of independence leader Francisco Antonio de Zela.
The next stop is at Campo de la Alianza, the site of battles between Peruvian and Chilean forces, where we will visit the Museum of Arms and the cemetery.
Following this, we'll take a panoramic tour of Tacna’s main monuments, including the cathedral, the fountain of the Greek Gods, and the Parabolic Arch, commemorating heroes of the War of the Pacific.
On the panoramic tour, we will also pass Bolognesi Avenue, the Botanical Garden, and the commercial area. Next, we'll visit the countryside of Tacna for a tasting at a pisco distillery.
Afterwards, we’ll head to a family ranch to try a pastel de choclo. Following the snack, we will explore the Miculla petroglyphs to interpret the zoomorphic engravings.
Next, we will cross the suspension bridge of Miculla to reach the thermal baths of Calientes, where you will have time to enjoy the natural pools.
