Complete Tacna Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Tacna at 9 am to start this complete tour focused on the most important events in the history of Peru.
The tour begins with a review of Tacna's war chronology, visiting significant locations such as the Municipal Theater, the Casa de la Jurídica, and the home of independence leader Francisco Antonio de Zela.
Next, we'll visit Campo de la Alianza, where Peruvian and Chilean armies clashed, including a stop at the Museum of Arms to view battle artifacts and the local cemetery.
A panoramic tour will follow, showcasing Tacna's main monuments, including the cathedral, the fountain of the Greek Gods, and the Parabolic Arch, dedicated to the heroes of the War of the Pacific.
Additionally, we'll pass by Bolognesi Avenue, the Botanical Garden, and the commercial areas, then visit the countryside of Tacna for a tasting at a pisco distillery.
Afterward, enjoy a pastel de choclo snack at a family ranch before exploring the Miculla petroglyphs.
Following this, we'll cross the suspension bridge of Miculla to visit the thermal baths of Calientes, allowing time for bathing in the natural pools.
