Day Trip to Montaña de Colores & Laguna Blanca Salt Flat

Your day will begin at 5 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Tacna, setting the stage for an exploration of some of the most picturesque natural environments in the Andean highlands.

Our first destination is the Montaña de Colores, a striking example of Peru’s vibrant mountain ranges. As we travel, we will take a break for breakfast, featuring a hot beverage alongside a tasty sandwich.

Upon arrival, you'll be captivated by the magnificent view of this mountain, observing how millions of years of mineral deposits have contributed to its varied hues of ochre, gold, and orange.

After soaking in the remarkable scenery, our journey will lead us to the Laguna Blanca Salt Flat. This enchanting site, where earth and sky seem to merge, offers insights into the geology of the high plateau. Ample opportunities for memorable photos will also be available during our stay.

Prior to returning to Tacna, we’ll stop for lunch, featuring a main dish and a beverage. Additionally, we’ll visit the Triple Border Landmark, signifying the convergence of Peru, Chile, and Bolivia.

You can expect to be dropped off at your hotel in Tacna by 6:30 pm.
